Prism Stalker, by Sloane Leong

If you have not yet had the delight of reading this graphic novel by indigenous Hawaiian author/illustrator Sloane Leong, I heartily recommend it. It's beautifully written and illustrated. Vep, an indentured refugee, is forced to participate in settling a new world, and things get messy, fast. This narrative is an indigenous futurism set down in lush colors and an immersive alien world. Definitely going in my list of mentor texts for the thesis.
